Aim of this study was to determine the electronic diary methods impact on an individual's perceived mood. The study raised two questions to determine whether and what differences exist between the perceived mood indicators of individuals using the electronic mood assessment system and those who do not. Overall, the study involved 98 respondents (75 women and 23 men), of whom 48 were representatives of the experimental group and 50 were representatives of the control group. The study methods used were the “Depression, anxiety and stress scale” (DASS 42; Beaton, Bombadier, Guillemin, & Ferraz, 2000, adaptation, Vanags & Raščevska, 2017) and Swedish Core Affect Scale, Vastfjall, Friman, Garing, Kleiner, 2002, adaptation, Vanags & Raščevska, 2015). The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the groups at the beginning of the study, but no statistically significant differences were observed at the end of the study.
