Considering the importance of the English language as a means of communications, there is an an urge for children to start the learning at a very young age. Since teaching a foreign language to very young learners might be challenging, it is necessary to find an appropriate teaching approach that would promote the learning. For that reason the main aim was to investigate how English vocabulary learning is improved with the implementation of multisensory approach. The theoretical method used in the study was a summative analysis of relevant literature on very young learners’ characteristics, teaching English vocabulary in preschool and multisensory approach in the context of language learning and teaching. The empirical part employed in the paper was a case study, using questionnaires, interviews, and pilot teaching. It revealed that the implemented activities based on multisensory approach for English vocabulary teaching were effective.
