Building games can be a powerful and creative tool for promoting the development of a child's mathematical skills. The aim of the study “Pirmsskolas vecuma bērna matemātisko priekšstatu veidošana celtniecības rotaļās”’ is to explore the formation of mathematical notions of children of childhood age in building games. Main tasks of the job: 1.analyse pedagogical and psychological literature on the development of a child of the average pre-school age. 2.collect learning from pedagogies and psychology scientists about the formation of mathematical notions. 3.analyse pedagogical, psychological literature on building play. 4.developing building games that meet standard requirements and should be used as a means of learning skills; 5.play building games to develop different mathematical skills; 6.to carry out analysis of the results and conclusions on the effectiveness of the use of building games. Key words: building games, pre-school math, pre-school education, elementary math skills.
