Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv pozitīvas/negatīvas sakarības starp jauniešu identitātes stiliem un vērtību dimensiju nozīmību. Izpētē piedalījās 127 respondenti vecumā no 18 – 23 gadiem (M = 20,63; SD = 1,50). Pētījums ir neeksperimentāls, korelatīvi aprakstošs. Instrumentārijs iekļauj divas aptaujas: Identitātes stilu aptauja (Identity Style Inventory, Berzonsky, 1992); Švarca Portretu vērtību aptauja 21 (Portrait Values Questionnaire, PVQ 21, Schwartz, 1992). No iegūtajiem datiem izriet statistiski nozīmīga, pozitīva korelācija starp informatīvo identitātes stilu un vērtību dimensiju atvērtība pārmaiņām, kā arī starp normatīvo identitātes stilu un vērtību dimensiju konservatīvisms. The aim of this study was to find out, if there is any positive or negative relationship between identiy styles and value dimensions in late adolescence. In total 127 young adults aged 18 – 23 (M = 20,63; SD = 1,50) were surveyed. Study design is nonexperimental, correlatively descriptive. Two surveys were employed: Identity Style Inventory (Berzonsky, 1992); Portrait Values Questionaire (Schwartz, 1992). Obtained data indicates statistically significant relationship between informational identity style and openess to change value dimension, as well as between normative identity style and conservativism value dimension.
