Reģionālo laikrakstu un pašvaldību informatīvo izdevumu lietojums un to atbilstība auditorijas gaidām: Ogres, Tukuma, Talsu, Rēzeknes un Ķekavas novadu piemēru analīze
Abstract
Maģistra darba “Reģionālo laikrakstu un pašvaldību informatīvo izdevumu lietojums un to atbilstība auditorijas gaidām: Ogres, Tukuma, Talsu, Rēzeknes un Ķekavas novadu piemēru analīze” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāds ir reģionālo laikrakstu un pašvaldību informatīvo izdevumu lietojums piecās, pēc iedzīvotāju skaita, lielākajās Latvijas novadu pašvaldībās. Darba teorētiskais ievars balstīts teorijā par mediju ekoloģiju, reģionālajiem laikrakstiem, apkopojumu par pašvaldību informatīvajiem izdevumiem un lietojuma un apmierinājuma teorija. Pētījuma metodoloģiju veido trīs datu vākšanas metodes – intervijas, aptauja un sekundāro datu analīze. Rezultātā secināts, ka lielākoties iedzīvotāji gan reģionālos laikrakstus, gan pašvaldību informatīvos izdevumus patērē, lai iegūtu informāciju par novadā notiekošo un sociāli mijiedarbotos ar citiem. Tomēr reģionālie laikraksti un pašvaldību informatīvie izdevumi nespēj apmierināt visas iedzīvotāju vajadzības. The aim of the master's thesis “Consumption of Regional Newspapers and Municipal Informative Newsletters and Their Compliance with the Audience's Expectations: Case Studies of Ogre, Tukums, Talsi, Rēzekne and Ķekava counties” is to find out the consumption of regional newspapers and municipal informative newsletters in the five largest counties of Latvia by population. The theoretical basis of the work is based on the theory of media ecology, regional newspapers, a summary of municipal informative newsletters and the theory of use and satisfaction. The research methodology consists of three research methods - interviews, survey and secondary data analysis. Research results indicate that most of the residents consume both regional newspapers and municipal informative publications in order to obtain information about what is happening in the region and socially interact with others. However, regional newspapers and municipal informative newsletters are unable to meet all the needs of the readers.
