The aim of the research „Digital literacy of students of University of Latvia during remote studies” is to clarify whether students have sufficient digital literacy to implement the remote study process. Theoretical basis of the research is pragmatism, connectivism theory, ELIS model and DigComp2.0 Digital Competence Framework. An interview, questionnaire and focus group discussion were used to conduct the empirical study. The results show that students' digital literacy has improved during remote studies. Most students believe that they have the necessary digital skills, but they can be improved. Based on the data collected in the study, it can be concluded that problem-solving and the need to use skills regularly have contributed to the improvement and development of these digital skills.
