Pētījuma mērķis - teorētiski un praktiski izpētīt Talsu novada tradicionālās kultūras apguves iespējas integrētās mācībās 2. klasē. Teorētiskajā daļā tika raksturotas jaunākā skolas vecumposma bērnu attīstības īpatnības, raksturota integrētā mācību būtība, apkopoti satura un metodikas teorētiskie aspekti, kā arī izveidots pārskats par Talsu novada tradicionālo kultūru. Empīriskajā daļā tika veikta intervija ar sākumskolas skolotājiem, lai noskaidrotu, vai skolotāji mācību procesā integrē mācību saturu un iekļauj Talsu novada tradicionālās kultūras elementus. Darba autore izstrādāja integrētas mācību satura nodarbības 2. klasei, katrā nodarbībā akcentējot Talsu novada tradicionālās kultūras izzināšanu. Bakalaura darba apjoms - 79 lappuses.
