Title of master's thesis: Introduction of LEAN methods in the labor protection system of a construction company. Author of the thesis: Marcis Slavinskis. Research supervisor: Dr. sc. admin., professor, Henry Lime The master's thesis is presented on the 93 pages, includes 50 images, 49 tables, 14 attachments, 52 sources. Construction is a dangerous industry with a high risk of injury and must be controlled by a variety of techniques and methods in order to reduce the risks to the working environment. The study consists of an introduction, four parts, conclusions and practical recommendations. The first part summarizes and analyzes the literature on the risks of the construction industry's work environment. The second chapter describes the methods used in the construction industry and research. The third part analyzes the problem, conducts empirical research and seeks practical solutions. The fourth part describes the scientifically based preventive and protective measures, as well as the LEAN methods to be implemented. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that the introduction of LEAN methods improves labor protection in construction companies. The study uses monographic, historical, grouping, comparison, 5-point Finnish, Austrian method for chemical risk assessment, LEAN methods (5S, GEMBA, time norms, standardization), questionnaire and interview methods. Keywords: work, protection, LEAN, method, construction. Title of master's thesis: Introduction of LEAN methods in the labor protection system of a construction company.
