Kvantiļu starpība divu izlašu salīdzināšanai

Abstract

Lai salīdzinātu divas grupas vai izlases, parasti tiek salīdzinātas vidējās vērtības vai mediānas. Taču nav pamata pieņemt, ka centrālās tendences mēros būs novērojamas atšķirības, tādēļ ir vērts salīdzināt visu datu sadalījumu. Darba mērķis ir aplūkot kvantiļu vērtību noteikšanas veidus un funkcijas, kas nosaka kvantiļu starpību, statistiskajā programmatūrā R, salīdzināt simulētus un reālus datus, tai skaitā centralizēto eksāmenu rezultātus, ar šīm funkcijām, salīdzināt funkciju darbību ar pārklājuma precizitātes palīdzību un papildus izveidot didaktisku materiālu vidusskolas statistikas kursam par statistisko rādītāju apgūšanu, izmantojot interaktīvas simulācijas un lietotnes.

Commonly, the mean and the median are both used for group comparison. But there is no reason to consider that differences would appear around measures of central tendency. Therefore the entire distribution could be compared. The aim of these bachelor theses is to make an overview of the mathematical methods and functions of the statistical software R used for quantile inference, also compare simulated and real-world data such as exam results using these functions, compare functions by coverage accuracy, and create a didactic material for teachers about the application of interactive simulations and applications in mathematics for high school students.
