The description of the research content and purpose of the results: The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the study of the formation of storytelling skills in older preschool children, based on the perspective of several theories and concepts of narrative storytelling skills. The author divided the work into 2 parts - theoretical and empirical. In the first part, the researcher defines the concepts of language and speech, as well as the essence of the concept of storytelling and the impact of storytelling on the child's development. In the second part, the author tends to explain what techniques and methods she uses to analyze the set of performances of the children under study. A joint analysis of the obtained data is carried out here, focusing on the aspect of storytelling as a pedagogical approach promoting creativity in a holistic perspective. The bachelor's thesis can be interesting both for workers in the pedagogical sphere and for literary scholars who study literary works and their function in the social environment and cultural context.
