A large number of studies have shown a link between the level of job satisfaction and health. Worker job satisfaction has the potential to have a positive or negative impact on the behaviour of employees, which generally affects the work of the organisation itself. This reflects how well the organisation is managed and functioning. Problems can be identified in the management approach and in the organisation of work. Any reason is to raise the issue of job satisfaction. The topic of the bachelor's thesis:Job satisfaction of nurses working in psychiatry Topic relevance: Many studies have proven an extremely high impact of job satisfaction on employee motivation, while motivation affects productivity and, therefore, the work result of the institution itself (5). This is especially relevant in psychiatry, as WHO data shows an 18% increase in mental disorders from 2005-2015, and by 2023 mental illnesses may become the main cause of disability worldwide (26). Aim of the work:Find out the satisfaction of nurses with their work at psychiatry hospital. Research tasks: 1. Compiling and analysing theoretical literature on job satisfaction; 2. Clarify and analyse aspects of nurse satisfaction related to work 1. psychiatry hospital; 2. Create a study tool - questionnaire, Paul Spector, job satisfaction survey; 3. Carry out a quantitative survey of nurses working in psychiatry hospital on job satisfaction and influencing factors; 4. Analyse the results of the study and draw conclusions. Research hypothesis: The majority of nurses, more than 50%, are satisfied with most of the criteria of their work. Research method: A quantitative study method using a method of convenience based on a non-probable sample. Research instrument: For measuring job satisfaction, the Paul Spector test is proposed, which provides general information on job satisfaction and specific aspects of it. Results of the study: Taking into account the results of the conducted research and the conclusions drawn, the author of the bachelor's thesis concludes that the hypothesis put forward at the beginning of the research was partially confirmed, because a positive evaluation was given in approximately the same number of criteria as those that were insufficiently evaluated. Thus, no conclusive evidence was obtained for the satisfaction of the majority of nurses with the assessment of the majority of work criteria. Keywords:job satisfaction, mental care, health.
