Izglītības process visos laikos ir bijis ļoti nozīmīgs, tomēr šobrīd šie procesi tiek virzīti uz to, lai mācības kļūtu patīkamākas un efektīvākas. Izvēloties mācīšanas stilu un metodi skolotāja un skolēnu darbs tiek virzīts uz savstarpēju sadarbību. Diplomdarbā ir apkopotas mācību metodes, kuras skolotāji var izmantot mācību stundās. Svarīgākais akcents darbā tiek likts uz to, lai skolotājs pēc iespējas precīzāk, ņemot vērā skolēnu mācīšanās stilu, motivācijas līmeni apgūstamo tēmu specifiku spētu izvēlēties vispareizāko mācību metodi, lai maksimāli ieguvēji būtu gan skolēni, gan skolotāji. Aktuālākais, skolēnos veicināt vēlmi uzzināt vēl vairāk, domāt, radīt, veidot un nebaidīties no kļūdām un grūtībām. Diplomdarbs sastāv no trijām daļām, kur pirmajā daļā ir sniegts vispārīgs sociālo zinību un izmantojamo mācību metožu raksturojums, otrajā daļā aprakstīti mācību metožu izvēles nosacījumi, bet trešajā daļā veikts pētījums 8.klases skolēnu vidū par veiksmīgāko metožu izmantošanu sociālā zinību tēmu apguvē.

The educational process has been very important at all times however currently these processes are geared towards becoming more engaging and effective. Depending on the chosen teaching style and method, the teacher and student work is focused on mutual cooperation. In this diploma work is summarized some teaching methods that teachers can use in class. The major focus of work has been placed on to a teacher choosing the most correct method of teaching, taking into account students' learning styles, motivation levels, specificity of the taught topics in order to maximize the benefit of both students and teachers. The most urgent need is to encourage students to learn even more, to think, create, build and not to be afraid of mistakes and difficulties. The diploma work consists of three parts, the first part provides a characterization of general social science and teaching methods, the second part describes the conditions of teaching methods, and the third part consists of a study among students in grade 8 of the most successful methods in social science subject learning.
