Atslēgvārdi: primāra arteriālā hipertensija, dzīves kvalitāte, veselības aprūpes kvalitāte, primārā profilakse, medicīnas māsu vadīšana The aim of Bachelor’s Thesis is to determine quality of life for patients with primary arterial hypertension. Theoretical part provides characterization of arterial hypertension and its impact on the quality of life of patients as well as an insight into arterial hypertension from the perspective of health care quality and primary prevention. Also, the theoretical parts provides characterization of the quality of life concept from the perspective of nursing management process, addressing 2 nurse management theories: M.E. Levine's Conservation Model Theory and Integrative Nursing Management Process Theory. Practical part describes the research method as well as reflects data obtained in research, thus the main conclusions for proving a research hypothesis were presented. For the analysis of data obtained, the descriptive and conclusive statistical methods: t-test with two independent samples for confirmation of research hypothesis. The obtained results were described by comparing the answers received during survey. Keywords: primary arterial hypertension, quality of life, health care quality, primary prevention, nursing management
