dc.description.abstract | Augu apstrādes veids var ietekmēt to ārstnieciskās īpašības.
dc.description.abstract | The treatment of plants can affect their medicinal properties. In this study, the properties of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) root extracts are evaluated depending on the type of treatment method and the solvent used. The aim of the research is to determine the polyphenol content of the extracts, their antiradical activity, and α-amylase inhibitory capacity. The objectives of the study include the analysis of the chemical and biological activities and the comparison of the results. The results show that the lyophilized root ethanol extract has the highest polyphenol concentration (1.96 mg/mL) and antiradical activity (80.38%), while the fresh root ethanol extract exhibits the highest α-amylase inhibitory capacity (42.39%). The results confirm that the type of treatment and solvent play a role in the production of bioactive compounds.
