Tiesību uz izglītību ģenēze un evolūcija

Abstract

Tiesības uz izglītību piešķir indivīdam kontroli pār savas dzīves virzību, tāpat tās nepieciešamas pārējo indivīda pamattiesību realizācijai. Ņemot vērā izglītības nozīmi indivīda, sabiedrības un valsts attīstībā, bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt tiesību uz izglītību ģenēzi un evolūciju. Darbā veikto vēsturisko analīzi autore sāk ar Seno Grieķiju un Seno Romu un beidz ar tiesību uz izglītību konstitucionālu nostiprināšanu laika posmā līdz Otrajam pasaules karam. Darbā secināts, ka tiesību uz izglītību, tāpat kā dabisko tiesību teorijas pirmsākumi ir atrodami antīkās pasaules filozofu darbos, kuros izglītība neatraujami tiek saistīta ne tikai ar indivīda attīstību, tā spriestspējas, intelekta un tikumības izkopšanu, bet arī ar valsts stabilitāti, labklājību un izaugsmi.

Right to education grants individual with control over the direction of his life, also it is necessary for the realization of other individuals’ basic rights. Regarding the importance of the education the aim of thesis is to explore genesis and evolution of the right to education. The historical analysis begins with ancient Greece and ancient Rome and ends with a right to education as a constitutional right before the World War II. In the thesis there is concluded that basis of the right to education as well as basis of the natural law concept can be found in works of antique philosophers, where education is inextricably linked not merely with development of individual, its judgment, intelligence and moral cultivation, but also the stability, prosperity and growth of the state.
