Supresijas dziļums pirms un pēc konverģences vingrinājumiem pacientiem ar konverģences nepietiekamību

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, datorsalikumā uz 57 lapām. Tas satur 26 attēlus, 5 tabulas, 1 pielikumu, 43 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem.

Darba mērķis: Noteikt konverģences vingrinājumu ietekmi uz supresijas dziļumu cilvēkiem ar konverģences nepietiekamību; izpētīt supresijas dziļuma mērījuma pielietojamību ortoptikas efektivitātes novērtēšanā.

Metode: Tika atlasīti 5 subjekti, vecumā no 21 līdz 50 gadiem, ar konverģences nepietiekamību. Ar datorprogrammas palīdzību, kas balstās uz piespiedu izvēles psihofizikālās metodes, tika noteikts subjektu supresijas dziļums. Subjektiem tika nozīmēts 7 nedēļu vingrinājumu kurss, kura laikā bija paredzētas stundu ilgas 7 iknedēļas vizītes kabinetā un papildus vingrinājumu pildīšana mājās 15 minūtes dienā, 6 dienas nedēļā. Supresijas dziļuma un konverģences tuvuma punkta izmaiņas tika novērtētas vingrinājumu kursa vidū un beigās.

Rezultāti: Subjektu supresijas dziļuma vidējā vērtība tika samazinājusies no 22,74 līdz 7,02 (p = 0,005). Vismazākais supresijas dziļums visiem subjektiem bija pēc vingrinājumu kursa pabeigšanas. Subjektu konverģences tuvuma punkta vidējā vērtība samazinājusies no 13,2 cm līdz 4,4 cm (p = 0,001).

Secinājumi: Supresijas dziļums samazinās pēc konverģences vingrinājumiem cilvēkiem ar konverģences nepietiekamību. Supresijas dziļuma mērījums raksturo binokulārās redzes traucējuma smagumu. Tika atrasta stipra korelācija starp konverģences tuvuma punkta uzlabošanos un supresijas dziļuma samazināšanos, r = 0,83.

Aim: To determine whether there is effect of convergence training on the depth of suppression for persons with convergence insufficiency; to study the applicability of the suppression depth measure for determining the efficacy of the orthoptics.

Methods: 5 patients 21 to 50 year of age with convergence insufficiency were selected. The depth of suppression was determined by using a computer program, which was based on the forced choice psychophysical method. Patients received weekly, 60-minute office visits, with additional procedures to be performed at home for 15 minutes a day, 6 times per week for 7 weeks. The changes in the depth of suppression and the near point of convergence were evaluated in the middle and at the end of the course.

Results: The suppression depth decreased from mean 22,74 to 7,02 (p = 0,005). The lowest value of the depth of suppression for all patients was at the end of the course. The near point of convergence break improved significantly, decreasing from mean 13,2 cm to 4,4 cm (p = 0,001).

Conclusions: The depth of suppression reduces in respond to convergence training in persons with convergence insufficiency. The measure of the depth of suppression characterizes the degree of the binocular vision impairment. There was found a strong correlation of the decrease of the depth of suppression and the improvement of the near point of convergence (r = 0,83).
