Rekomendācijas Oracle Portālu izstrādei un uzturēšanai

Abstract

Zināšanu trūkums par Oracle Portālu izstrādes specifiku ir vērā ņemams šķērslis Oracle Portālu izstrādes projektos. Šī darba galvenie mērķi ir, pirmkārt, izpētīt Oracle Portālu iespējas un, otrkārt, noskaidrot problēmas Oralce Portāla projektā, kurā piedalās darba autore, un piedāvāt iespējamos problēmu risinājumus. Pirmā no trim galvenajām darba daļām paskaidro tīmekļa lietojumu un portālu veiksmes kritērijus. Tālāk otrā daļa iepazīstina ar Oracle Portālu iespējām un tādām portālu komponentēm kā portletiem. Visbeidzot galvenajā daļā ir pārskats par projekta problēmām, to skaitā portāla konfigurēšanas, programmēšanas un projekta pārvaldības problēmām un to risinājumiem. Kā daļa no projekta problēmu risinājuma ir izveidots Oracle Portāla izstrādātāja ceļvedis.

The lack of knowledge about the specifics of Oracle Portals development is a considerable hindrance in Oracle Portal development projects. The main purposes of this thesis are, firstly, to research the capabilities of Oracle Portal and, secondly, to study out the problems in Oracle Portal project the author participates in and to hold out the possible solutions. The first of three basic parts of the thesis describes the success criteria of web applications and portals. Further the second part introduces Oracle Portal capabilities and such portal components as portlets. Finally in the main part there is a review about the problems in project including portal configuring, programming and project management problems and their solutions. Oracle Portal developer’s tutorial is provided as a part of solution to project problems.
