Bachelor thesis is written in Latvian. It consists 58 pages. It contains 39 figures, 6 tables, 24 references to literature.
Purpose:find out refractive surgery results predictability of hyperopic patients after LASIK.
Subjects and methods:There were analyzed 62 patients (119 eyes) whom were realized hyperopic correction with LASIK. Average age 40,3. Subjective refractions MSE is +3,23±1,59D. Were analyzed information about stability and predictability of refraction, effectiveness and changes of visual acuity till 6 months after LASIK.
Results:At 6 months after LASIK, the MSE was +1,27±1,16D, UCVA 1.0 or better-24% and the predictability within ±1,00D interval-62%.
Conclusions:The analysed data of hyperopia predictability and regression, and visual acuity changes shows similar tendency to results found by the other authors.
