Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 32 drukātām lapām, tas satur 11 tabulas un 5 grafikus . Pētījumi bija veikti Itālijā veicot redzes pārbaudes skolā 138 skolniekiem vecumā no 11 līdz 13 gadiem. Pētījuma laikā tika atklāts, ka lielākai daļai no bērniem ir sūdzības par diskomfortu, ko rada neefektīva redzes sistēmas darbība. Redzes spējas spēlē būtisku lomu daudzās dzīves situācijā, studijās, darbā un sportā. Dažas no šīm spējām ir fundamentālas, lai rakstītu un lasītu bez grūtībām. Optometriskā redzes analīze dod iespēju uzlabot redzes spējas, novērst vai apturēt miopijas progresēšanu un atrisināt astenopijas problēmas parakstot pareizas brilles vai kontaktlēcas, veicot redzes treniņus un ievērojot redzes higiēnas prasības. The thesis is written in English, it has 32 pages, 11 tables and 5 figures. The research was carried out by running a school screening of 138 students aged between 11 and 13 years. It’s during the study and the commitment school in general that the majority of children and adolescents complains discomfort attributable to a not efficient visual system. Visual skills play an important role in many aspects of daily life, in study, work, sports. Some of these are fundamental in order to perform the tasks of writing and reading without difficulty. Learning is therefore favored by an efficient visual system. It was performed a school screening testing visual skills more involved in the process of studying and learning to highlight the problems of students who can be treated successfully by Optometric Sciences.
