LINQ pret SQL

Abstract

„LINQ pret SQL” ir darbs, kurā tiek salīdzinātas divas programmēšanas tehnoloģijas – LINQ-to-SQL un ADO .NET – saiknes nodrošināšanai starp aplikāciju un relāciju datu bāzi. Sākumā autors iepazīstina ar katru no tehnoloģijām, īpaši pievēršoties LINQ un LINQ-to-SQL, jo tās ir jaunākas par ADO .NET un līdz ar to varētu interesēt plašāku darba lasītāju loku. Salīdzināšanas procesā tiek izmantoti praktiski piemēri ar labi komentētiem programmas izejas tekstiem, kuri tiek darbināti uz paša autora veidotas aplikācijas un datu bāzes. Rezultāti tiek attēloti ar grafiku un tabulu palīdzību, neaizmirstot arī par komentāriem un secinājumiem.

LINQ versus SQL is a research paper where two programming technologies - LINQ-to-SQL and ADO.NET - are being compared with an aim to provide a connection between application and relation data basis. Accordingly, in the beginning of the research paper, the author introduces both technologies, devoting particular attention to LINQ and LINQ-to-SQL, since they are newer than ADO.NET and may be more interesting to a wider range of readership. Moreover, when comparing both technologies, practical examples with broadly commented texts of program output are presented and operated on the application and data basis developed by the author. Furthermore, results are illustrated with a help of graphics and charts, as well as making a note on comments and conclusions.
