Sphinx meklēšanas un indeksēšanas sistēmas veiktspējas analīze
Abstract
Bakalaura darbā aplūkota Sphinx teksta indeksēšanas un meklēšanas sistēma, kas
pēdējos gados aizvien plašāk tiek izmantota sistēmās, kam jānodrošina informācijas atlasīšana
un meklēšana lielos datu apjomos. Tiek analizētas šīs sistēmas piedāvātās funkcijas un to
izmantošanas iespējas, kā arī veikti ātrdarbības testi, kas analizē Sphinx veiktspēju un
salīdzina to ar MySQL datubāzes piedāvāto. Darbā apskatītas arī Sphinx pielāgošanas iespējas
darbam ar informāciju latviešu valodā. Darba izstrādes laikā iegūtās zināšanas pielietotas
praksē, izstrādājot un produkcijā ieviešot Sphinx meklēšanas risinājumu. The Bachelor thesis discusses the Sphinx full-text indexer and search engine which has
gained a significant popularity for use in systems that provide search of information in large
datasets. The present work contains the analysis of capabilities of the system and the results of
performance tests including the performance comparison between the Sphinx search engine
and MySQL database. The work also focuses on the customization possibilities of Sphinx to
provide better support for the search of information in Latvian. The theoretical part of the
present work has been used practically – Sphinx search engine was implemented in a real
project.
