dc.description.abstract | Darbā tika izpētītas ar cēriju aktivēto Y3Al5O12 (YAG) nanokristālu luminiscences īpašības plašā spektrālā diapazonā, ieskaitot vakuuma ultravioleto spektru, izmantojot impulsa sinhrotrona starojumu. Eksperimenti tika veikti izmantojot DESY (Deutsches Synchrotron Strahlung) sinhrotronu, kurš ir viens no vadošiem zinātniskiem sinhrotrona centriem pasaulē. Darbā tika iegūta un parādīta ievērojama luminiscences īpašību ar laika izšķiršanu atšķirība starp nano un mono kristāliem. Tika pieņemts, ka nanokristālu virsma ir atbildīga par jauno luminiscences centru veidošanos nanoizmēra YAG kristālā. Tiek piedāvāts un apspriests YAG luminiscences centra iespējamais modelis. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Investigations of luminescence properties of cerium doped Y3Al5O12 (YAG) nanocrystals have been performed in wide spectral range including vacuum ultraviolet region using pulsed synchrotron radiation. The experiments were performed using DESY (Deutsches Synchrotron Strahlung) synchrotron facility which is one of the leading synchrotron centers in the world. A significant discrepancy of time-resolved luminescence characteristics between nano and single crystals was obtained and analyzed. It was supposed that nanocrystals surface is responsible for the formation of new luminescence centers in nanosized YAG. The possible models of emission centers in YAG nanocrystals were suggested and discussed in details. | en_US |
