Orientēšanās sacensību rezultātu apstrādes sistēma

Abstract

Katru gadu pasaulē notiek vairāki tūkstoši orientēšanās sacensību, kuru rezultāti dažādos formātos nonāk dažādos informācija avotos. Darbā tiek aprakstīta orientēšanās sacensību rezultātu apstrādes sistēma, kuras galvenais mērķis ir apkopot orientēšanās rezultātus vienā datu bāzē. Darba ietvaros tiek piedāvāti un apskatīti dažādi risinājumi rezultātu iegūšanai, glabāšanai, sintēzei, integrācijai un attēlošanai. Tiek salīdzinātas esošās orientēšanās rezultātu apstrādes sistēmas un izveidots savas orientēšanās sacensību rezultātu apstrādes sistēmas prototips, kuru ir plānots ieviest 2008.gada jūnija sākumā.

Every year many thousands orienteering competitions are organized all over the World and their differently formated results are published in different information sources. This scientific paper describes orienteering competition results processing system. The main goal of the system is to collect orienteeering results in a single database. The scope of this paper offers comprehensive analysis of various solutions for orienteerig results' retrieval, storage, synthesis, integration and data representation. In this paper also different existing solutions for processing of orienteering results have been compared and the prototype of in-house system has been successfully developed. Iit is planned to deploy it on production in the beginning of June 2008.
