Faktori, kas ietekmē uztveres koherenci binokulārās konkurences laikā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 60 lappusēm. Satur 26 attēlus, 4 tabulas, 4 pielikumus un 22 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Mērķis: Novērtēt redzes sistēmas spēju rekonstruēt uztverē koherentu attēlu no binokulāri konkurējošiem attēla fragmentiem. Dalībnieki: Eksperimentā piedalījas 5 dalībnieki vecumā no 17 līdz 27 gadiem. 2 no tiem vīrieši, 3 sievietes. Eksperimenta dalībniekiem bija normāls redzes asums katrā acī, ar optisko korekciju, ja tāda bija nozīmēta. Eksperimenta dalībniekiem bija binokulārs, stereoskopisks redzes raksturs. Metodes: Uz katodstaru tipa datora monitora tika izveidoti binokulāri konkurējoši monokulārie attēli. Redzes lauku atdalīšanai tika lietotas šķidro kristālu slēgbrilles Elsa Revelator. Attēlu komplekts sastāvēja no attēliem, ko aprakstījis Diaz-Caneja, Diaz-Caneja attēliem, kas pagriezti pa 900, Diaz-Caneja attēliem, kas fragmentēti 4 fragmentos, katrā monokulārajā attēlā. Dalībnieku atbildes par eksperimenta laikā uztverto attēlu tika pierakstītas 100 sekundes katram attēlu veidam. Tika iegūts pieraksts ar uztvertās ainas raksturojumu un uztveres ilgumu. Rezultāti: Uztveres alternācija ir strauja, caurmērā 1-2 sekundes. Klasisko Diaz-Caneja attēlu dalībnieki uztvēra kā pilna lauka attēla dominanci vairāk kā 50 % laika. Vertikāli rotētu attēlu subjekti uztvēra kā pilna lauka attēlu 30 % laika. Fragmentētu attēla rekonstrukcija uztverē par pilna lauka attēlu netika novērota. Secinājumi: Uztveres koherences koncepcija nav vispārīgi pielietojama fragmentētiem, binokulāri konkurējošiem attēliem. The Master´s work is written in English. It consist of 60 pages. It contains 26 figures, 4 tables, 4 appendixes and 22 references. Task: To assess capability of visual system to complete perceptualy coherent image from binoculary rivalrous small aspects of image. Subjects: The study involved 5 subjects with ages between 17- 27, 3 male and 2 female. Subjects had normal visual acuity in each with optical correction if necessary. Subjects had binocular stereoscopic vision. Methods: Binoculary rivalrous monocular images were presented on CRT visual display. Monocular visual fields were separated by liquid crystal shutter glasses Elsa Revelator. Image set consisted of images first described by Diaz-Caneja, same images but rotated by 900, and modification of Diaz-Caneja images fragmented to 4 pattern fields in each monocular image. Responses of subject perceptions were recorded for 100 seconds for each image. Perceptual alternation rates and duration of each percept was recorded. Results: The alternation rate of perceptions was rapid, average duration of perception was about 1-2 seconds. In the first test subjects perceived full field images more than 50% of the time. In the second test subjects perceived full-field images about 30% of the time. In the third test subjects never perceived full field images. Conclusions: Concept of perceptual coherence is not generally applicable to binoculary rivalrous segmented images.
