Baklaura darbā tiek aplūkots jauns, fundamentāls efekts - ietērpto stāvokļu interference. Darbā tiek nodemonstrēts, ka, atomam vienlaicīgi mijiedarbojoties ar diviem koherentiem lāzeru impulsiem, veidojas ietērpto stāvokļu interference, kas izpaužas kā sarežģītu oscilāciju struktūras parādīšanās lāzeru ierosmes spektros.
Ietērpto stāvokļu interferences spektri tiek mērīti virsskaņas kūļu iekārtā, lietojot trīslīmeņu pakāpienveida shēmu Na atomos. Apakšējos divus līmeņus saista īss un stiprs ietērpjošais lāzera impulss, un ierosmes spektri tiek novēroti, skenējot augšējos divus līmeņus saistošā lāzera frekvenci. Šaja darbā tiek aprakstīta nātrija atomārās virsskaņas kūļu iekārtas uzbūve, eksperimenta sagatavošanas process un uzņemtie ierosmes spektri.

This thesis investigats a new and fundamental process upon interaction of atoms with coherent laser radiation pulses - laser dressed state interference. It demonstrates experimentally that upon simultaneous interaction of atom with two light pulses dressed state interference, which is observed as an oscillation pattern in the excitation spectra, is created.
The effect is demonstrated by measuring excitation spectra of a three level ladder excitation scheme in Na atoms. The experiments are performed on a supersonic beam in which atoms are excited by a strong laser pulse that couples the lower two levels. Excitation spectra is recorded by scanning the second laser over the resonance of the upper trasition. In this work experimental setup, its operation and measured excitation spectra are described.
