Apsekojuma par studentu apmierinātību ar mācībām universitātē analīze

Abstract

Šajā darbā veikta datu analīze apsekojumam par studentu apmierinātību ar mācībām viņu pārstāvētajā universitātē. Datu apstrādei izmantota faktoru analīze un galveno komponenšu metode. Diplomdarba teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīta faktoru analīzes būtība, matemātiskais modelis, faktoru vērtību novērtējums, rotācijas metodes un sniegts īss galveno komponenšu metodes apraksts, kā arī abu izmantoto metožu salīdzinājums. Praktiskajā daļā analizēti 1782 respondentu novērtējumi 49 izteikumiem par konkrētām Latvijas augstskolām, kā rezultātā atrasti galvenie faktori un komponentes, kas raksturo studentu apmierinātību ar studijām. Datu apstrādei izmantota datorprogramma SPSS.

In the present diploma paper the data analysis is performed revealing students’ satisfaction with the education process in the universities they represent. For the data processing the factor analysis (FA) and principal components analysis (PCA) are used. In the theoretical part of the diploma paper the essence of FA, mathematic model, evaluation of factor value and rotation methods are described as well as a brief PCA description and comparison of the both methods used in the work are given. In the practical part the evaluations of 49 statements about definite Latvian universities given by 1782 respondents are analyzed, using program SPSS. In the result the principal factors and components characterising the student satisfaction with studies are found.
