Universitātes ontoloģija un tās iespējamie lietojumi

Abstract

Maģistra darbā ir izstrādāts universitātes ontoloģijas piemērs. Skatoties uz Latvijas Universitātes Informatīvo Sistēmu (LUIS), darbā tiek attēloti sistēmas pamatjēdzieni un asociācijas starp tiem, kas vispārīgā līmenī raksturo universitātes darbību. Izstrādājot ontoloģiju, lielākā uzmanība pievērsta jēdzieniem, kuri saistīti ar studenta aktivitātēm universitātē. Ir izpētīts un iespēju robežās praktiski realizēts datu eksports no esošās LUIS relāciju datu bāzes uz ontoloģiju datu bāzi. Darbā arī salīdzināta izveidotā universitātes ontoloģija ar citām tīmeklī pieejamām universitātes ontoloģijām.

In this master paper is developed an example of university ontology. Paying attention to University of Latvia Information System (LUIS), this work represents general system concepts and associations between them which characterize activities of university at general level. While developing ontology the main attention was focused on concepts which are related to student's activities at university. Author has studied and within limits practically implemented data export from existent LUIS relation database to an ontology database. This work also contains comparison between established university ontology and other public university ontologies in the Web.
