Bachelor’s thesis is written in Latvian on 30 pages. It contains 13 figures, 6 tables and 11 references. In the study participated 9 students aged between 21 and 23. Task stimuli were presented on monitor. We studied the characteristics of gaze transfer of modified Stroop tasks in which the response of word font color is made by gaze transfer to the location of an appropriate peripheral stimuli, rather than verbally. The task consisted of congruent stimuli in which the word meaning and the word font color corresponded with response stimulus location, and incongruent, in which did not. The result showed that both of stimuli had significant effect on execution of the tasks. Incongruent stimuli showed influence of gaze transfer in wrong directions. Key words: Stroop effect, congruent and incongruent stimuli, the characteristics of gaze transferen_US
