Galīgi daudzgalviņu un daudzlenšu automāti

Abstract

Galīgi daudzgalviņu un daudzlenšu automāti no parastiem automātiem atšķiras ar to, ka tiem ir vairāk par vienu lasošo galviņu vai arī tie apstrādā vairākas lentas vienlaicīgi. Daudzgalviņu automātiem aktuālas ir līdzīgas problēmas kā automātiem ar vienu galviņu – kā noteikt vai automāta atpazītā valoda ir tukša, galīga vai bezgalīga; vai determinēti un nedeterminēti daudzgalviņu automāti spēj atpazīt vienas un tās pašas valodas. Tāpat arī daudzlenšu automātiem ir īpašības, kuras ir vērts aplūkot,– vai daudzlenšu automāti spēj atpazīt valodas, kuras neatpazīst vienas lentas automāts; kā arī noskaidrot veidu, kā noteikt, vai daudzgalviņu automāta atpazītā valoda ir tukša, galīga vai bezgalīga. Šīs un vēl citas galīgu daudzgalviņu un daudzlenšu automātu problēmas un īpašības tika izpētītas šajā darbā.

Multitape and multihead finite automata differ from simple automata because they have multiple reading heads or alternatively they work with many tapes simultaneously. Multihead automata have similar problems as automata with single head’s, how does one determine if the automata language is empty, finite or infinite, and furthermore does the deterministic and nondeterministic multihead automata define the same languages. Multitape automata also have properties, which are worth while to also consider, for example does the multitape automata have the capabilities to define languages, which the one-tape automata cannot, and next is how to determine if the language defined by multitape automaton is empty, finite or infinite. These problems and additional properties of multitape and multihead finite automata are investigated in this paper.
