Bachelor work has been written on 36 pages in latvian. It contains 17 pictures, 6 tables and 50 sources of literature.
Purpose: to determine what is the required amount of different aberrations so that a stimulus looks equally blurred.
Tasks: to mount the optical setup; to choose methodology of the experiment; to select the subjects to be enrolled in the experiment; to generate and measure aberrations.
Method: the method of constant stimuli was used in the experiment. Three subjects were enrolled in the experiment.
Results: Each aberration has its own amount so that the stimulus looks equally blurred. If all aberrations are compared to the spherical aberration the largest amount is required in the case of coma.
Key words: aberrations, the method of constant stimuli, the RMS value, the level of blur, power progressive lenses.
