Skrīninga testa izstrāde tāluma redzes asuma novērtēšanai skolēniem

Abstract

Darbā tika pārbaudīta jauna redzes skrīninga datorprogramma, salīdzinot tās darbību ar jau pārbaudītu programmu. Darba mērķis bija nomērīt redzes asumu skolēniem ar abām datorprogrammām, salīdzināt tās un noskaidrot iegūto datu klīnisko ekvivalenci. Darba uzdevumi iekļāva datu ievākšanu un analīzi. Analizējot rezultātus, veidojās secinājumi par jaunās programmas darbību. Pēc datu analīzes, iegūstot jaunās programmas jutību 88% un specifitāti 93%, varēja secināt, ka jaunā programma strādā labi. To var pielietot redzes skrīninga pārbaudēs, tikai nepieciešams to mazliet uzlabot vai ņemt vērā tās sistemātisko labāku rezultātu uzrādīšanu, kad tiktu veiktas redzes skrīninga pārbaudes ar šo programmu.

The study tested a new vision screening software program by comparing its performance with already tested program. The aim was to measure visual acuity of school age children with two software programs, compare them and find out whether data are clinically equivalent. Work tasks included data collection and analysis. After analyzing the results, conclusions formed about the new program. Resulting in the new program sensitivity was 88% and specificity 93%, it could be concluded that the new program is working well. It can be used for visual screening, just there is a need to improve it a little or to take into account the sistematic presentation of a better results when carrying out the vision screening with this program.
