Abstract

Darba galvenā tēma ir programmatūras testēšana un to ietekmējošie procesi. Mērķis ir testēšanas un to ietekmējošo procesu uzlabošana, veicot akcepttestēšanu. Darbā aprakstīta testēšanas labā prakse pasaulē un tās attīstības tendences nākotnes perspektīvā, praktiskā pieredze testēšanā viena uzņēmuma ietvaros, kas nodarbojas ar norēķinu un klientu pārvaldības sistēmas labojumu un jauninājumu testēšanu, sistēmas uzturēšanu un operēšanu. Tiek piedāvāti vairāki testēšanas un ar to saistīto procesu uzlabošanas paņēmieni, piemēram, ieejas kritēriju izstrādāšana un ieviešana no sistēmtestēšanas uz akcepttestēšanu, to pozitīvie un negatīvie aspekti. Aprakstītie paņēmieni tika praktiski realizēti vai tiek plānoti realizēt aprakstītā uzņēmuma ietvaros.

The main subject of the paper is software testing, with emphasis on the processes related to testing. The aim is to improve testing and its related processes by feedback from and experiences in acceptance testing. The paper details world best practices of software testing and their future development trends and also details the experiences of one company which handles the support and operation of billing and customer management systems and the testing of fixes and changes made to those systems. Approaches to improve the organization’s processes related to testing and execution of tests will be discussed, weighing up the positive and negative aspects of each approach which is already introduced or planned to introduce in the organization.
