Vārdu atstarpes lieluma ietekme uz lasīšanas ātrumu

Abstract

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, datorsalikumā uz 67 lapas. Satur 37 attēlus, 13 tabulas, 2 pielikumus. Tajā ir izmantoti 20 literatūras avoti. Darba mērķis. Izpētīt vai atstarpes starp vārdiem ietekmē lasīšanas ātrumu. Dalībnieki. Pētījumā piedalījās skolēni no 2- 5.klasei un studenti vecumā no 21- 28 gadiem. Metode. Tika izgatavoti 5 teksta varianti. Katrs no teksts tika atlasīts 133 vārdu garš, ar vidējo vārda garumu 5 burti. Rezultāti. Dalībniekiem ir novērojam lasīšanas ātruma samazinājums tekstā bez atstarpēm starp vārdiem. Salīdzinot tekstu ar standarta atstarpēm un tekstiem ar palielinātām atstarpēm, novērojam lasīšanas ātruma pieaugumu. Šīs efekts saglabājās līdz atstarpes lielumam 0.96°, Secinājumi. Skolēniem, lasot tekstus ar lielākām atstarpēm salīdzinot ar standarta tekstu, lasīšanas ātrums palielinās.

In human subject research participated students from Grades 2-5, as well as students in age from 21 to 28 years old. Methods. 5 text options have been made in the Microsof Word. Each text consist of 133 word. Average word length is 5 letters. Results. Observed that for all participants reading speed decreases if text do not have space between the words. Compared the text with standard spaces between the words, and the text that have more spaces between the words, observed that reading speed increases. You can see the same effect until spaces reach the size 0.96°. Conclusion. If there is more spaces between the words the speed of reading increases.
