Hierarhiju modelēšana un realizācija datu noliktavās

Abstract

Darbā tiek aprakstīts, kā hierarhiskus datus var modelēt ER modelī parastās informāciju sistēmās, tiek apskatīti teorētiski iespējamie hierarhiju veidi, analizētas dažādas hierarhisku datu realizācijas iespējas datu noliktavās. Darba mērķis ir realizēt teorētiski aprakstītās hierarhiju realizācijas zvaigznes un sniegpārslas shēmas ietvaros, novērtēt netriviālu hierarhiju struktūru izmantošanas iespējas datu analīzes rīkos (konkrēti Discoverer rīkā).

In my work I have described how hierarchical data can be design in the ER model in the ordinary information systems. I have also described theoretically possible hierarchical ways. I have analysed different hierarchical data realization possibilities in the data warehouses. The aim of this work is to realize theoretically described hierarchical realization within the framework of star and snowflake scheme, as well as to evaluate not trivial hierarchical structure operation possibilities in the data analyses tools (in the concrete in the Discoverer tool).
