Mitsuhiro Odavaras spēle - "Dubultie puskubi"

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā aplūkota Mitsuhiro Odavaras spēle, kas sastāv no astoņām dažādām detaļām. Katra detaļa ir izveidota no diviem puskubiem – paralēlskaldņa un trijstūra prizmas. Izstrādātas datorprogrammas, ar kuru palīdzību var atrisināt spēles galveno uzdevumu – atrast visus kuba salikumus, kā arī atlasīt interesantākos salikumus. Turklāt ir atrasti visi paralēlskaldņi un to salikšanas variantu skaits no astoņām spēles detaļām.

The puzzle of Mitsuhiro Odawara is considered in this bachelor’s paper. The puzzle consists of eight different pieces. Each piece consists of two half cubes – the parallelepiped and the triangular prism that are joined together. Computer programmes have been elaborated for solving the main problem – finding all the assemblies of the cube as well as for the selection of more interesting assemblies. Moreover, all parallelepipeds consisting of eight pieces and the number of assemblies have been determined.
