Programmatūras lietojamība: eksperimenti un secinājumi

Abstract

Programmatūras laba lietojamība ir ļoti būtiska reklāma produkta veiksmīgai pārdošanai, un bieži tikai lietotāju sapnis, strādājot ar specifisku programmatūru darba vietās. Ar programmatūras lietojamību bieži saprot pirmkārt tikai tīmekļa lapu lietojamību. Šajā darbā programmatūras lietojamība apskatīta ārpus tīmekļa lietojamības rāmja un veikti testi lietojamības vērtēšanai lietojumprogrammām, tīmekļa lapām un mobilajiem telefoniem. Darba teorētiskajā daļā meklētas atbildes uz jautājumiem par to, kas ir lietojamība, un kāpēc tā ir tik nozīmīga, izstrādājot programmatūru. Tāpat apskatītas vadlīnijas lietojamības testu izstrādāšanai, kas vēlāk ņemtas vērā darba praktiskās daļas tapšanā un no resursiem internetā iegūts lietojamību nosakošo elementu saraksts, uz kura pamata balstīti izdarītie secinājumi par veikto testu rezultātiem. Darbā gaitā meklētas lietojamības kopīgās un atšķirīgās iezīmes dažāda veida programmatūrai un aprakstīti izdarītie secinājumi, kā arī vērtēta lietotāju pieredzes nozīmība efektīvā darbā ar programmatūru.

Good software usability is a very relevant obstacle to sell the software product successfully and often just a dream for the users, who work with specific software applications at their work places. When talking about software usability people frequently at first think of the one of web pages. This work tends to look at software usability outside this frame and in this work software usability tests have been made to evaluate usability of application software, web pages and mobile phones. In the theoretical part of the work are answers to questions about what is usability, why is it so important in software development process. There are guidelines to make good usability test, which are later the basis for the tests carried out in the practical part of the work. From internet resources I got valuable list of usability guidelines, which is the basis for all the conclusions about the test results received. In this work I look for both - common and different characteristics of usability for different kind of software. These conclusions and my observations about importance of user experience in software usability can be found at the end of the work.
