In nowadays in medicine more often are used lasers for diagnostic and therapy applications and for tissue treatment. The scientists are looking for new laser application in medicine to replace old and ineffective treatment methods with new perspective technologies. New laser applications in medicine are build on researches in laboratories where are investigate the laser and tissue interaction and looked for optimal and effective solutions. The purpose of work is to provide a summary of laser applications in medicine, get acquainted with LU ASI mounted medical laser models and develop on their basic the laboratory work in physics of LU for Master course "Lasers in Physics and Medicine" program. In work are developed and described four laboratories, where students will learn skills in laser ablation, tissue cutting, tissue heating, and skin fluorescence spectra measurement. It is developed and described the four works, they are, surface ablation, tissue cutting, tissue heating, and skin fluorescence spectra measurement. The first task in the work is the dye ablation of the tissue surface maquette and the search for best and effective laser treatment options. The second task is to acquire the skills to work with laser scalpel, cutting the ex-vivo skin samples with a high-power laser beams. After treatment skin samples investigates under the microscope. In the third task with the infrared laser radiation the tissue maquette are heated to determine the temperature changes dependence on heating time and the radiation power. The fourth task is to receive the red laser excited in-vivo skin fluorescence spectra and investigate the fluorescence extinction kinetics in treatment time.
