Mentālās rotācijas tests noguruma apstākļos

Abstract

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 44 lappusēm.

Darba mērķis: izpētīt, vai mentālās rotācijas spēju ietekmē nogurums.

Metodika: Mentālās rotācijas novērtēšanai izmantojām speciāli izveidotu testu, kas sastāvēja no 256 figūru pāriem: 128 bija divdimensionāli un 128 bija trīsdimensionāli figūru pāri. Uz ekrāna parādoties figūru pārim, pētījuma dalībniekam bija jānovērtē vai abas figūras ir līdzīgas (tikai tās varēja būt pagrieztas) vai tās ir kā spoguļattēls viena otrai.

Rezultāti un secinājumi: Pēc subjektīva dalībnieku noguruma novērtējuma, netika pierādīts, ka mentālo rotāciju ietekmē nogurums, taču testa izpildes laiku iespaidoja tas, cik ilgs laiks pagājis kopš pamošanās brīža līdz testa izpildei.

Purpose: The aim of our study is to examine the possible impacts of fatigue on the ability of mental rotation.

Methods: To evaluate reaction time for recognizing rotated objects (whether they do or do not match each other) we have constructed a special digitized test that consists of 256 object pairs (128 two- and 128 three-dimensional). When the pair of objects is shown on screen the participant has to indicate whether the object is the same (but rotated) or whether it is the mirror image of the same object.

Results: After subjective asessment of the level of fatigue of participants, there was no evidence that metal rotation is affected by fatigue, however the time used to do the test was affected by waking hours before the test.
