Radzenes liekuma izmaiņas pēc ortokeratoloģijas terapijas

Abstract

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 39 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 17 attēlus, 8 tabulas un 39 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darbā tiek pētītas ilgstošo ortokeratoloģijas lēcu lietotāju radzenes liekuma rādiusa izmaiņas pēc terapijas veikšanas. Analizētas radzenes parametru izmaiņas laikā radzenes liekuma rādiusam un radzenes astigmātisma vērtībai. Eksperimentā pētītas 77 acis divās vecuma grupās (26 bērnu, 51 pieaugušo). Galvenie secinājumi: 1) praktiski iegūtās radzenes liekuma rādiusu izmaiņas ir līdzvērtīgas teorētiski aprēķinātajiem datiem; 2) radzenes astigmātisma izmaiņas ir atkarīgas no ortokeratoloģijas lēcu lietošanas ilguma. Neapstiprinās izvirzītā hipotēze, ka „ilglaicīgajiem ortokeratoloģijas pacientiem nepietiek ar vienas nedēļas pauzi pēc terapijas, lai radzenes liekuma rādiuss atgrieztos sākotnējā vērtībā”.

Master theses are written in Latvian on 39 pages. It contains 17 pictures, 8 tables and 39 references to the literature. Corneal curvature changes of a long term ortokeratology treatment are studied in this paper. Differences in the radius of corneal curvature and differences of the corneal astigmatism are analyzed. There are two age groups – 26 eyes of children and 51 eye of adults (together 77 eyes) which are studied in this paper. Main conclusions: 1) practically obtained differences in the radius of corneal curvature are similar to theoretically calculated values; 2) differences of the corneal astigmatism correlate with time of ortokeratology therapy had been used. The hypothesis „one week without using contact lenses is not enough for a complete corneal topographic recovery for long term ortokeratology patients” has not been confirmed.
