Master work is written in Latvian, it contains of 36 printed pages. There are 36 pages in this document including 22 graphs, 6 tables and 33 literature sources. Purpose: Eveluate the change on reaction time of stimulus recognition in periphery with yellow and blue lens Participants: There were 12 student participants (ages 22-25) in the experiment and none of them had any serious eye diseases who can affect results. Method: To realize the work, we used test, where participants looking binoculary on central stimulus with yellow and blue lens, identifies peripheral stimulus pressing the “button on keyboard.. Results and conclusions: Reaction time of stimulus recognition in periphery with yellow lens is faster than blue lens, reaction time increase when peripheral stimulus is farther than central stimulus, when background moves faster its impact stimulus recognition in any eccentricity. Keywords: peripheral vision, color filters, reaction time, stimulus recognition.
