Dažāda dizaina multifokālo kontaktlēcu ietekme uz redzes funkcijām

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 33 lapām, satur 24 attēlus, 5 tabulas un 35 literatūras atsauces. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt vai multifokālo kontaktlēcu dažādie dizaini ietekmē kontaktlēcu lietotāja redzes funkcijas. Pētījumā piedalījās 12 pacienti, kuri sasnieguši ir presbiopijas vecumu – 6 vīrieši un 6 sievietes. Visiem dalībniekiem tika novērtēts redzes asums un stereoredze tālumā un tuvumā ar monofokālajām, Biofinity Multifocal un Air Optix Multifocal kontaktlēcām. Salīdzinot abus multifokālo kontktlēcu dizainu veidus, secinu, ka dažādo multifokālo dizainu veidiem ir ietekme uz redzes funkcijām – tās samazinās. The master thesis is written in Latvian, consists of 33 pages, containing 24 images, 5 tables, 34 literature references. The aim of the work is to explore and evaluate whether different designs of multifocal contact lenses affected vision functions of contact lens users. 12 presbyopic patients, including 6 male and 6 females, with their own free will participated in the research. Vision acuity and stereo vision in distance and nearness was evaluated to all the participants while using monofocal Biofinity Multifocal an Air Optix Aqua Multifocal contact lenses. It was concluded that the different designs of compared multifocal contact lense had an effect to vision functions: they were decreasing. Key words: contact lenses, multifocal lenses, presbyopia
