Thesis is written in English on 34 pages, contains 21 figures, 21 references. The purpose of thesis was to evaluate sensory and motor dominance influence on postural equilibrium in static conditions. Comparing both eyes open and closed eyes tests, there is a strong link between binocular vision and postural equilibrium, while in comparison between dominant eye open and non-dominant eye open not detect statistical differences. All the subjects examined did not show any particular ability to maintain a better balance when the only channel to be concerned was that of the dominant eye. In contrast, in binocular vision conditions, they obtained the best performance with a significant reduction in the values of the confidence ellipse. Key words: Eye dominance, postural behavior, eyes occlusion, stabilometric platform.
