The bachelor’s work is written in Latvian on 26 pages. It contains 16 pictures, 19 references to literature sources. Purpose: To assess whether the size of the pupils affects the size of transverse chromatic aberration. Method: The effect of transversal chromatic aberrations of 10 participants on the visual acuity and the effect of the size of the pupil on the size of transversal chromatic aberration was assessed using the Vernier matching methods and FrACT software for assessing visual acuity. Conclusions: 1 prism dioptry increases mean transverse chromatic aberrations by 0.33 arc minutes and reduces visual acuity by an average of 0.02 logMAR unit. The small aperture (2.5 mm) did not significantly reduce participants' transverse chromatic aberration.
