Literatūrā bieži vien tiek izvirzīts pieņēmums par procesa asimptotisku neatkarību, bet gandrīz tikpat bieži šie pieņēmumi netiek pārbaudīti. Lai gan asimptotiskās neatkarības jeb jaukto procesu teorija ir attīstīta jau pagājušajā gadsimtā, praktiskas novērtēšanas iespējas ir rastas tikai pēdējā laikā, vienlaicīgi tas arvien ir aktīvi pētīts temats. Šajā darbā tiek apskatītas pieejamās metodes jaukto procesu teorētiskajai un praktiskajai koeficientu novērtēšanai. Šobrīd vienīgais praktiski aprēķināmais novērtējums ir ϕ jauktā procesa koeficientam, kam darbā vērsta īpaša uzmanība tā noderīgo īpašību dēļ – tas sniedz vērtīgus ieskatus citādi grūti analizējamajos gēnu ekspresijas datos. Darbā tiek pielietots ϕ jauktā procesa koeficienta novērtēšanas algoritms Phixer krūts vēža gēnu ekspresijas datiem. In statistical literature, the asymptomatic independence or mixing is often assumed. However, these assumptions are rarely tested, mainly due to the lack of a practical way of testing them. The beginnings of asymptomatic independence and mixing process theory can be traced back to the previous century, yet feasible estimation options have risen only in recent years; at the same time, it is currently an active research field. In this thesis, currently known methods for mixing coefficient estimation are considered. Much attention is drawn to the ϕ-mixing coefficient – as of now, it is the only coefficient with a viable estimation available. Furthermore, it has useful properties – the ϕ coefficient gives important insight into gene expression data, which is otherwise difficult to analyze. In this thesis, the Phixer algorithm is used for ϕ coefficient estimation for breast cancer gene expression data.
