Uztura un fizikālo procedūru ietekme uz asaru kvantitāti un kvalitāti

Abstract

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, datorsalikumā uz 56 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 30 attēlus, 3 tabulas, 2 pielikumus, 63 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: Novērtēt Omega 3 kapsulu lietošanu, pietiekoša ūdens dzeršanas un komprešu lietošanu uz acs asaru plēves veselību. Metode: Pētījumā piedalījās trīsdesmit dalībnieki. Pētījums tika realizēts piecos posmos. Pirmajā posmā tiek izmantotas McMonnies un OSDI sausās acs izvērtēšanas anketas. Otrajā posmā pacienti tiek sadalīti trīs grupās un tiek veikta acs asaru plēves izvērtēšana. Asaru plēves kvalitātes novērtēšanas testi ir interferences ainas pakāpes novērtēšana un TBUT. Asaru plēves kvantitātes novērtēšanas testi ir asaru meniska augstuma novērtēšana un Širmera tests. Trešajā eksperimenta posmā pacients pilda izvēlētās terapijas kursa instrukcijas. Pētījuma terapijas veidi ir komprešu un plakstu masāžas terapija, ūdens dzeršanas terapija, Omega 3 uztura bagātinātāja terapija. Ceturtajā pētījuma posmā pacients atkārtoti ierodas uz acs asaru plēves mērījumu. Piektajā pētījuma posmā tiek analizēti rezultāti. Rezultāti: Komprešu un plakstu masāžas terapija samazina acs saistību ar sausās acs slimību. Komprešu un plakstu masāžas terapija parāda statistiski nozīmīgus uzlabojumus acs asaru plēves kvalitātes testos. Ūdens dzeršanas terapija statistiski nozīmīgi uzlabo acs asaru plēvi gan kvalitatīvi, gan kvantitatīvi. Omega 3 uztura bagātinātāju terapijai nav statistiski nozīmīga uzlabojuma asaru kvalitātē. The purpose of the work: To assess the health of taking Omega 3 capsules, drinking enough water and applying compresses to the tear film of the eye. Method: Thirty participants participated in the study. The study was realized in five stages. At the first stage, McMonnies and OSDI dry eye assessment questionnaires are used. At the second stage, patients are divided into three groups and an evaluation of the tear film of the eye is performed. Tear film quality assessment tests are an assessment of interference patterns and TBUT. The tear film quantity assessment tests are the assessment of the height of the tear meniscus and the Schirmer test. At the third stage of the experiment, the patient follows the instructions for the selected course of therapy. Types of research therapy include compression and eyelid massage therapy, water drinking therapy, Omega 3 dietary supplement therapy. At the fourth stage of the study, the patient repeatedly comes to the measurement of the tear film of the eye. At the fifth stage of the study, the results are analyzed. Results: Therapy of compresses and eyelid massage reduces the association of the eye with dry eye disease. Massage therapy of compresses and eyelids shows statistically significant improvements in the quality tests of the tear film of the eye. Water drinking therapy statistically significantly improves the tear film of the eye, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Omega 3 dietary supplement therapy does not have a statistically significant improvement in tear quality.
