Iegūtie secinājumi ļauj labāk izprast nediferencējamu funkciju optimizācijas metožu pielietošanas iespējas un to īpatnības. Bakalaura darbs ir metodiska rakstura, to var izmantot optimizācijas metožu kursā.
dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the bachelor's thesis is to study optimization methods for non-differentiable functions in order to successfully apply them in solving various problems. The work is mostly based on three optimization methods, that is, the gradient method, the bundle method, and the method based on replacing a non-differentiable function with a differentiable one. The solution techniques discussed in the work will be described theoretically and practically with the examples containing graphs created in the program Wolfram Mathamatica. Advantages and disadvantages of the methods' applications are described. The bachelor's thesis will introduce the history of optimization methods, mention their applications in various professional fields, as well as describe the basic concepts of optimization methods. At the end of the work, recommendations for the choice of methods will be given, as well as possible directions for further work will be outlined. The obtained conclusions allow to better understand the possibilities of application of non-differentiable function optimization methods and their peculiarities. The bachelor's thesis has a methodological nature, it can be used in the optimization methods’ course.
