Abstract
The thesis is written in Latvian on 31 pages. It contains 17 figures, 3 tables, 35 references to literature sources. The aim was to validate a computer-based vision screening EYEDOO heterophoria test in school-age children. The study involved 83 participants who were screened for heterophoria with computerized test and clinical tests. The repeatability and realibity of the resulsts were analyzed. The computerized test had good repeatability. The mean values of the computerized heterophoria test results are not statistically different from the clinical tests and are more consistent with the modified Torrington test for dissociated heterophoria.
