Zur LanganzeigeZusammenfassung
Izmantojot augstas izšķirtspējas spektru, šajā darbā ir noteikta 31 ķīmiskā elementa koncentrācija dubultzvaigznes HP Peg atmosfērā. 9 ķīmisko elementu koncentrācijas tika noteiktas pirmo reizi. Darbā iegūti šādi zvaigznes atmosfēras parametri: Teff=4400 K, logg=1.0, xi=1.9 km/s. Izrēķināts, ka zvaigznes metāliskums ir [Fe/H]=-1.91, kas ierindo HP Peg metālnabadzīgo zvaigžņu vidū. Zvaigznes atmosfērā konstatētas ievērojami paaugstinātas neitronu satveršanā sintezēto elementu koncentrācijas. Papildus tam smago s-procesa elementu (Ba, La, Ce) koncentrācijas izrāda pārsvaru pār vieglo s-procesa elementu (Sr, Y, Zr) koncentrācijām [hs/ls]=+0.70, kas raksturīgs Galaktikas halo populācijai piederošajām CH zvaigznēm. Abi šie fakti norāda uz masas pārnesi sistēmas pagātnē no sākotnēji masīvākās komponentes uz šobrīd novērojamo zvaigzni. Abundance analysis of 31 chemical elements for the binary star HP Peg are performed and presented based on a high-resolution spectrum. Abundances of 9 chemical elements were derived for the first time. The following atmospheric parameters are derived: Teff=4400 K, logg=1.0, xi=1.9 km/s. HP Peg is metal-deficient, the iron abundance of the star is found to be [Fe/H]=-1.91. The abundances of neutron-capture elements are found to be substantially enhanced. Furthermore, the ratio of heavy s-process elements (Ba, La, Ce) to light s-process elements (Sr, Y, Zr) is found to be [hs/ls]=+0.70 which is characteristic of the CH stars populating the Galactic halo. These results indicate that in the past mass transfer occured from the companion star of higher initial mass to the presently observable star.
