Quantum pumps recently have been proposed for optics-like experiments as on-demand electron source, where the properties of emitted electrons are still subject for study.
An electron in the lead is represented by a quantum state vector, which is obtained for tunnelling problem in Schrodinger picture with wide-band approximation. In order to interpret it classically on phase space the time dependent Wigner function is introduced. Since electrons on Hall edge channel are as free particles the opportunity to represent Wigner function in two dimensions rises.
%\
%Due to noninteracting electrons on Hall edge chanell the oportunity it fully on time and and energy axes rises.
The representation of time dependent Wigner function is defined for which the physical meaning is given and properties discussed. After obtaining the representation which depends only on tunnelling rate (in dimensions of energy) and energy of electron, the Wigner functions for experimentally realizable emission protocols are calculated analytically and numerically.
