In this work, research was performed with hybrid thin-film systems of organic-inorganic substances, with the goal of the detection of X-rays that they are irradiated with. These hybrid systems were formed from inorganic substances - tungstate nanoparticles of various heavy metals (cadmium, zinc, nickel, strontium, calcium, cobalt), and various organic compounds - poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) or P3HT, Phenyl-C61-butyric acid methylester or PCBM (fullerene) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate or PEDOT: PSS, all of which are organic semiconductors. Various thin film structures were formed with these substances and irradiated with X-rays to determine their X-ray detection capability and sensitivity. Additional measurements characterizing the properties of the films were performed, such as measurements of electrical conductivity and examination of the films under a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The obtained results were compared with the data available in the literature and conclusions were made about the efficiency of the application of the specific systems.
